According to Wednesday's KXAN News, a distraught family is searching for their small dog who disappeared just one day after she was put into boarding at a veterinary clinic in Lakeway, Texas.
Deirdre Brueggen left her five-year-old son's dog, "Pebbles," at the White Angel Animal Hospital on April 17. The next day, while she was in Chicago, she received a troubling text notifying her that Pebbles had escaped after biting a veterinary technician.
Brueggen claims that the vet clinic told her that:
" this is an unfortunate thing, and that this just happens."
Tal Shohamy, business manager at White Angel Animal Hospital, blames the escape on the dog:
Pebbles was able to get away because she attacked the person that was handling her,
We tried to find Pebbles and after an hour and a half we found her. She wouldn’t come to us and ran away again.
On the Facebook page for the veterinary hospital, there is a photo of Pebbles, along with the following information:

NAME IS PEBBLES
HAS PINK SPARKLE COLLAR & TAG
IS SCARED & PLEASE GO SLOW
