Dog allegedly stolen from car at Home Depot in CT - family offering reward (Photos)

UPDATE 3/28/13: WONDERFUL NEWS shared from the Bring Bella Home Facebook page. Thanks to everyone who shared for her.

Bella has been found and is home safe! She was found in Hartford and was living with a family for the last 3 weeks. Thank you everyone!

Derby, CT - Have you seen this girl?

This is Bella, a 7-year-old Yellow Lab, allegedly stolen from her owner's car in the Home Depot parking lot at Main and Water Streets.

Her owner went into the store at about 11:30 a.m. on March 11 to make a quick purchase. Upon her return to the vehicle, Bella had disappeared. Her collars had been removed and were found under the seat. They believe that someone reached through the partially opened window, unlocked the door, then removed her collars and took her. Unfortunately, Bella is not microchipped.

The Novotnys, her very worried and terribly distraught family, have set up a Facebook page, Bring Bella Home, to get the word out about her being missing. Bella is on daily medication for a liver problem. They are also offering a reward for her safe return - no questions asked. Their only concern is getting her back.

If you have seen her, have any information, or know of her whereabouts, please call (203) 520-3518.

The Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdock Ave, Meriden, CT has offered their shelter as a safe haven drop off for Bella. She can be dropped off any day during the week between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Another drop off location is the Wolcott/Plymouth Dog Pound, 775 Boundline Rd., Wolcott, CT. No questions asked.

You can help by sharing her flyer to alert the people you know to be on the lookout for her. Hopefully with everyone's help, Bella will be safely returned to the loving arms of her family where she belongs.
