The family of missing Michigan doctor, Teleka Patrick, released a statement late Jan. 22, 2014, saying they are exhausted and beyond desperate to find their missing loved one, according to The CW West Michigan.
The statement read, “We are past the point of desperation. We are running on fumes and running out of time. Like everyone, we have drowned in the speculation of where she could be and who might have her… We thank and encourage the hordes of online support and aid that we have received.”
The family ended their plea with, “Please don’t give up.”

Teleka, 30, failed to show up for work on Dec. 6, 2013.
The night prior, police found her car abandoned in an Indiana ditch alongside an interstate about 100 miles away from Kalamazoo where she worked with her wallet still inside the vehicle.
Teleka’s cell phone was left at her place of employment, Borgess Hospital.
According to CNN, Dec. 5 surveillance video from a local Radisson hotel shows Teleka at the front desk just after 7:30 p.m. She is dressed in all black and spends about 10 minutes speaking with the reception desk. Teleka then leaves after failing to book a room.
She can be seen exiting out the hotel’s front doors at about 7:48 p.m. and getting on a shuttle bus, which took her to her car, CNN reports.
Police urge anyone with information about Teleka's whereabouts call the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office at 269-383-8748, or contact Silent Observer at 269-343-2100 or www.kalamazoosilentobserver.com.
WWMT reports there is a $15,000 reward for information that leads investigators to Teleka.
