Cherie Guidry, DVM posted the following on Facebook today:
This is my husband, Nick. He is a sailor working in Seattle. He was last seen Tuesday, December 3, 2013, around noon. He has not been in contact with anyone and has turned his phone off.
If you have seen him or heard from him, please contact me immediately on Facebook or call me at 360-348-7037.
We suspect he is somewhere between Seattle and Everett. Thank you!
This Examiner reached out to Dr. Guidry just minutes ago and no one is answering at the number she posted on her Facebook page.
His Command has been notified and shares the family’s concern.
There was no mention of what Guidry set out to do when he left the house.
Dr. Guidry has also said on her page that Nick’s phone was pinged on the “Find my Phone app” last night and was shown in Oakland, Calif. But there is nothing to indicate if the phone is still in Nick’s possession. The phone was not on long enough for a call to be received.
While Dr. Guidry mentions leaving a message on her Facebook inbox, unless she is currently a “friend” the message is dumped into the “others folder.” It’s unlikely she will see the incoming messages.
