There is plenty of audience participation in this new take on a classic tale as the children help Goldilocks in a comical and fun forest adventure with the three bears. Goldilocks learns that bears can be people, too.

Birthday parties and school field trips are cheerfully accommodated.

The award-winning Storybook Theatre, a professional company operating under a contract with the stage union Actors Equity, has for many years been presenting its trademark non-scary musicals at Theatre West. Their productions are ideal for children age three to nine and their families.

“Goldilocks And The Three Bears” performs 1 p.m. Saturdays through June 14. Admission is $12 adults, $10 children. Call 828-761-2203 or visit www.theatrewest.org.
