Discovery Children's Museum

On March 9, 2013 the Discovery Children's Museum opens in its new location, adjacent to the Smith's Center in downtown Las Vegas. The new 58,000-square-foot, three-story building is twice the size of the current museum, filled with nine themed exhibition halls and all-new exhibits. Las Vegas Natural History Museum

The Las Vegas Natural History Museum opened in 1991 and housed a small collection of life exhibits. Today the two-story museum contains exhibits such as Prehistoric Life, Early Man and Wildlife; giving children and adults an appreciation for life and sciences. Daily admission costs $10 for adults, $8 for Seniors, military and students, $5 for children 3-11 and children under 2 are free. Family memberships start at $45 for a Grandparent membership that includes two adults and all grandchildren under 18. The most popular plan is the Family membership that includes admission for two adults and all children under 18 for $65. Both memberships are valid for one year and include:

Springs Preserve

The Springs Preserve is 180 acre park that includes museums, galleries, children's play areas, botanical gardens and a trail system through a scenic wetland habitat. The Preserve offers extras like live shows, crafts and bike rentals. With a variety of indoor and outdoor attractions, the Springs Preserve suits any season. Daily admission is $9.95 for adults and $4.95 for children 5-17. A Family membership costs $60 and includes:
