Bishop David Huskins of Cedartown is just one of the family members seeking any information regarding the shooting death of his nephew, Cody Lane Bryant.

Bryant was murdered last month while sleeping in his own bed at his residence on Ivey Gulledge Road in Paulding County. The family is seeking answers and asking anyone with any information to step forward.

Bishop Huskins issued a public plea on his Facebook page stating, "On Feb. 10th my 20 year old nephew Cody Lane Bryant was murdered in his own home in Paulding County GA to date there have been no arrests and little information released. If anyone has information contact the Paulding Co. Sheriffs Dept. @ 770-443-3010. The public's assistance is appreciated and rewards are offered."

Fox 5 News aired an update on the case yesterday along with a video from All News 106.7. The video includes an interview with Bryant's mother, Beverly Collum and Bishop David Huskins.

In the interview, Beverly Collum describes her son as funny, generous and a lover of life.

The family is currently working with Crime Stoppers Atlanta to issue a reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information can call 404-577-TIPS.
