Fans of “Family Guy” were upset when the show killed off Brian the dog. It has now been reported by People on Dec 6 that Brian will make a comeback! In the report it states that Brian will appear in the Dec 15 Christmas showing titled “Christmas Guy”.

Viewers were devastated when during the Nov 24 show Brian the dog was hit by a car and died. Many fans even signed a petition to bring the beloved character back to life. Brian, who is voiced by the show’s creator Seth MacFarlane, was 11 at the time of his accident. The family quickly tried to move on from the accident by acquiring a new dog. How will this twist play out with Brian reappearing?

This planned return for Christmas leaves everyone wondering if he will really return from the dead or possibly just appear as a ghost. Fans of the long running show are also wondering if this was a publicity stunt set up by MacFarlane or if they truly did intend on killing off Brian for good. Hopefully the full story will emerge soon!

A new episode of “Family Guy” airs tonight on Fox and the Christmas episode will air in a week. “Family Guy” can be seen Sunday’s on Fox at 8 P.M. CST.
