Vegas is gearing up for fall with the Family, Fur and Fun Festival Saturday, October 19th from 9 am to 3 pm at Exploration Park, Mountain’s Edge. Presented by the Law Office of Donna Stidham, LLC, whether you have a furry child, or are looking to adopt one, Family, Fur and Fun is sure to be a wonderful day for the whole family.
Events include dog races and a Halloween contest (because let’s face it, nothing is cuter than a dog dressed up as a T-rex), and Canine Good Citizen Testing. Arica of Petographique will be on hand to capture the cuteness of your fur kids for posterity. Drs. Jason and Jamie Sulliban of Aloha Animal Hospital will be providing education for pet parents on how to keep the four legged cuties safe, and a number of vendors will be present offering everything your distinguished dog or classy cat needs.
Proceeds from the event will benefit animal rescues and shelters throughout Southern Nevada and a few will be on hand with fur kids ready to join your family. Please consider opening your home to a new family member.
Family, Fur and Fun is free to attend and most pets are welcome. Pets must be leashed, calm in crowds, should not be aggressive and smaller pets should be carried to avoid being accidentally stepped on. Do not leave your pet in the car. It’s hot, dangerous, and why would you want them to miss out on the fun!
Come down to Exploration Park, Mountain’s Edge at 9600 South Buffalo Drive on Saturday October 19th and spend a day with your 4 legged kids (you can bring the 2 legged ones as well).
