Kidologie is a children's fair taking place on March 16 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Newtown at the Reed Intermediate School on 3 Trades Rd. and promises to serve up loads of family fun, prizes, entertainment, and activities galore, all for a good cause. A portion of the proceeds will go to the proposed EverWonder Children's Museum in Newtown that will offer kids a destination museum dedicated to science and art activities.

This year's Kidolgie will have many interesting exhibitors sure to provide fun and educational experiences for the entire family. Curious creatures from the Beardsley Zoo and an intertidal touch tank from Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk are among the 40 plus exhibitors at this event. There will be live entertainment by Jester Jim, and a Magic Show by Jim, Pete and Chris Amusements, plus magic by Bryan Lizotte. The Gray School of Irish Dancers will entertain kids with a show and the story of Peter and the Wolfe will be presented by the New England Ballet Company. There will even be a fun with science session presented by the EverWonder Children's Museum in addition to free arcade games, fun with robotics, free ipad art classes, and even a roaming train and raceway track.

A highlight of this event are the many free giveaways that attendees enter to win. Prizes include a Children's Birthday Party at the Bijou Theatre, tickets to Little Red Riding Hood from the New England Ballet Company, gift baskets, plus family passes to Quassy Amusement Park, the Beardsley Zoo and Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk.
