You don't have to worry about bringing out that waffle iron anytime soon. Let the American Swedish Historical Museum provide you and your kids with breakfast this weekend.
In honor of Annunciation Day, join the museum for Waffle Day on Saturday, March 16th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Your family will learn about the history of the holiday and nibble on scrumptious Swedish waffles with strawberry jam and whipped cream, traditionally eaten by Swedes.
The $10 fee includes museum admission, waffles and beverages. The perfect, reasonably priced family outing! Tickets are available for purchase online or at the door.
The American Swedish Historical Museum is the oldest Swedish musuem in the United States and is located at 1900 Pattison Street in South Philadelphia.
