Do you have an aspiring fisherman in your family? New and experienced fishermen and their families will love attending Linvilla Orchard's ninth annual Family Fun Fishing Derby set for Saturday, April 6th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. No experience is needed and this is a great setting for kids to create fun memories of catching their own fish. Kids of almost any age can participate, as long as they can hold a fishing pole!
Orchard Lake will be stocked with over 1000 trout, giving participating fishermen a great chance to get a lucky catch! For $14.99 per fisherman, participants will be able to keep their first catch of the day. Additional caught fish may be purchased at the cost of $4.99 per pound. Fishing equipment will be available for use and no fishing license is required. The lucky anglers who catch the first tagged trout in their age groups (under 7, 8-11, 12-16, 17 and over) will receive a special trophy. Plus, there are many more tagged fish which can be caught to win additional trophies and other great prizes.
The Linvilla Grill will be open serving food for hungry fishermen and the Farm Market will be selling their usual delicious desserts to take home.
