From festivals featuring fun for families to mayoral debates to World Cup watch parties, this week's events offer something for everyone. Here is a look at the week ahead for Huntsville and the surrounding area for June 15th through 21st, 2014.

FAYETTEVILLE MAYORAL DEBATE will be held tonight at Fayetteville Municipal Building at 7 p.m. All five candidates running for mayor of Fayetteville will be present at the debate.

FAMILY FUN FEST will be held at the VBC South Hall on Saturday, June 21st. The event will begin at 10 a.m. and go until 8 p.m.

WORLD CUP 2014 watch parties will be held at locations throughout the Huntsville area this week.

BENEFIT YARD SALE will be held at Shipps Baptist Church on Saturday, June 21st. The proceeds from the yard sale will assist a community member who is having to build a house after his house was damaged in an automobile accident.

THE DIRTY GUV'NAHS' "Hearts On Fire Tour" will perform in Huntsville, along with special guest Dave Anderson. The concert will be in the VBC Playhouse Tuesday, June 17th, at 8pm. All tickets are general admission for $15.

THE ALABAMA HAMMERS arena football team will take on the Columbus Lions Saturday, June 21st. The game will be held at the VBC Arena.
