Located across the street from the Hogle Zoo, This is the Place Heritage Park has a lot to offer families looking for a fun place to visit this summer.
Come to the park and learn what it was like in the old West, during the pioneering days. Watch live artisan demonstrations, and then let the kids go on the pony ride and pet baby lambs in the petting corral! Visit the old ZCMI general store inside the village for old fashioned candy and toys! Tour the whole village on one of three replica trains, which also serve as a shuttle to get you to all the different places in the park. Admission into the village includes any three of the following: mini-train rides (not the same as the replica train), pony rides, or take home crafts.
The park offers rentals of some of their buildings for gatherings such as weddings, birthdays, corporate events, reunions, etc. They also offer educational and service oriented activities for schools and youth groups.
Today starts the living history summer season for the park. This is a fun place to go spend a day with family and friends and enjoy learning about the heritage of the west!
