As Easter approaches I think it's a good idea to talk about some ideas for celebrating. I happen to not be religious (there went half my readers), I'm actually an atheist (there goes another 40%). Now for both of you still reading I mention this because the holiday celebration can be a little awkward for us heathens. If you have kids you want to celebrate all the holidays do maybe doing an Easter egg hunt and egg coloring can be fun. Tip from pinterest: to help toddlers hold the egg and not dye the entire house, put the egg in a whisk and put the dye in a bowl. Yes, you are welcome.
You can watch Easter movies like Hop or The First Easter Bunny. Make some popcorn and eat some chocolate together. After the movie you can play some games or weather permitting play hop-scotch (notice a theme of bunny hopping? I'm just that good).
Easter crafts are fun. How about making Cascarones (confetti filled Easter eggs). Poke a hole in the egg, drain it of all it's goo, let it dry for an hour, fill with biodegradable confetti, cover hole by gluing tissue paper over the hole, then use water colors to paint your egg! My kids adore throwing these, stomping them, and they make for fun pictures.
After the kids go to sleep maybe you can turn into your husbands own personal playboy bunny (told you I was good) and hop into bed and concentrate on playing with your own eggs. Go at it like rabbits but use condoms unless you want the pitter patter of little feet in 9 months (more like crying and barfing but pitter patter sounds cuter to the naive).
