During the holiday season, we all hoped to find the perfect toys. Whether the toys were for our own children, our friend's children or students, we were determined to find the perfect gifts that were not going to break the bank. This past holiday season, Family Dollar proved to be one of the hotspots for toys! Not typically somewhere you think of supplying the name brand toys, Family Dollar surprised customers in 2012. Fortunately for us, Family Dollar continues to supply the top brands at affordable prices at any time of the year!
Giftcard and money in hand, I entered Family Dollar this past holiday season in search of toys for my preschool classroom, as well as, toys to donate to one of my favorite charities: Toys For Tots. It always feels good to give back! In addition to the beautiful KENYA doll I received, I searched for toys geared for preschool ages and up. What I found was unexpected: low prices on top brands such as Marvel and My Little Pony.
Excited to see the brands I had to choose from, I decided to buy four of the Marvel Miniature Alliance 3 Pack Deluxe Figures and four of the My Little Pony Friendship Magic sets! All the toys were just $5 a pack making my total only $40 for eight toys. At any other store, it would have cost double that price for brands like Marvel and My Little Pony!
I decided to give four of the toy sets to Toys For Tots and kept the other four plus the KENYA doll for my own classroom. My preschool classroom loved their new toys and I enjoyed watching their imaginations run wild! To my surprise, my preschoolers wanted more of the new toys so I recently purchased a few more of each and put them in my classroom treasure chest for special occasions!
I would recommend Family Dollar to anyone! They are supplied to the ceiling with affordable toys for teachers, parents, or anyone looking for a top brand toy for a low price!
