A Homosassa, Fla., family is devastated after their baby, miniature, pot-bellied pig was killed by a neighbor, reported Friday's My Fox Tampa Bay.
The two-month-old piglet, named "Arnold," was killed when he wandered out of his own yard and into the path of Amanda Luider's neighbor, Thomas Norris, who claims to have mistaken the little tyke for a wild pig.
Norris stated that the small piglet was "terrorizing" his animals and he felt the need to put Arnold down.
Norris initially tried to kill Arnold with a gunshot, but he missed, so he used the butt of the gun to hit the piglet in the head.
Arnold's killer told My Fox Tampa that he feels bad about Arnold's death and he even wants to buy them a new pig, but the Luider family wants Arnold's killer to face a judge for his actions.
Whether or not that will ever happen remains to be seen.
