Looking for some fun family activities (they’re educational, too, but the kids will never know) next weekend? Check out these December 14 events in the Albany area.
“Christmas is in the Air” will be at the Empire State Aerosciences Museum in Glenville. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be flying in to visit with kids and have photos taken. Kids will have fun making aerospace related crafts and stick rockets. A museum tour is included in the very reasonable price of $5 per person or $20 per family. Kids can ride the Simulated Reality Vehicle and listen to the Candy Bomber Story. Pizza, hot dogs, hot chocolate and other snacks will be available. Stop by between 11:30 and 2:30 to join in the fun.
See A Christmas Carol featuring the Puppet People at the Troy Library branch at 100 Second Street at 1 p.m. It is a free performance and suitable for toddlers and older kids. This puppet spectacular features beautiful handcrafted marionettes, lavish costumes, vivid sets, and a professional soundtrack including many holiday favorites. This show is sure to please. There is no need to register.
Clifton Park Center is having its annual Open House at the shopping plaza from 4-6 p.m. The event is free and there is something for all ages.
