Seven of the nine movies that received Oscar nominations on Thursday are also in the running for Golden Globe Awards.
NBC is televising the star-studded 70th annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan. 13, at 7 p.m.
‘Saturday Night Live’ alumni Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are hosting the event.

‘Argo,’ ‘Django Unchained,’ ‘Life of Pi,’ ‘Lincoln’ and ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ are nominated for Best Drama.
All five films, which are playing in Huntsville theaters, earned Oscar nominations.
‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,’ ‘Les Miserables,’ ‘Moonrise Kingdom,’ ‘Salmon Fishing in the Yemen’ and ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ are nominated for Best Comedy or Musical.
‘Les Miserables,’ which is playing in Huntsville theaters, and ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ also received Oscar nominations.
The two films that received Oscar nominations but not Golden Globe recognition in the major movie categories are the French-language drama 'Amour' and 'Beasts of the Southern Wild.'
