Three members of the Falmouth B&B Association will participate in a Garden Tour on May 10, 1:00-3:00pm. The Palmer House Inn, Captain’s Manor Inn and Woods Hole Passage B&B Inn will open their gardens for touring and learning experiences. The garden tour is part of a two-week spring festival of blooms entitled Falmouth Village Blooming in Falmouth Village, MA.
Visit each of the inns on May 10 anytime between 1:00-3:00pm and you’ll not only enjoy the chance to see the inns’ gardens and landscaping, but you’ll find the following workshops and creative fun at each of the inns.
· At Woods Hole Passage Inn: Bring the kids and create your own fairy house in the expansive back yard. Materials provided.
· At Captains Manor Inn: Learn landscaping & gardening tips from a pro. Watch professional landscapers transform bare dirt into a full garden in 2 hours. You’ll take home some great ideas.
· At Palmer House Inn: Challenged for garden space? Learn how to plant a successful container garden from an innkeeper pro.
The garden tour is free and open to the public. It’s one of the many garden and spring related activities taking place during the Falmouth Village Blooming Festival of spring. While visiting Falmouth Village, take a self-guided tour of dozens of May Baskets, created by businesses throughout the Village. Decide on your favorite then vote on the Falmouth Village Facebook Page for your favorite anytime between May 1-11, and help crown a People’s Choice Award Winner. Many of the B&Bs you visit will display May baskets, so be sure to look for them.
In addition, and to add to the festivities Bailey's by the Sea will hold a seaside tea on May 10 from 12noon - 3:00pm featuring spring cookies, tea and coffee. Everyone's invited to stop by.
