Feargus Urquhart has commented about the potential development the next “Fallout” video game, which may be “Fallout 4” or “Fallout: New Vegas 2.” According to a report by Attack of the Fanboy on Feb. 15, the CEO of Obsidian Entertainment disclosed that, if they were to work on a new installment for the series, it would most likely be different than how Bethesda Game Studios developed “Fallout 3.” He also believed that the location for “Fallout 4” or “Fallout: New Vegas 2” will be kept in the west coast as opposed to the east coast if they were in charge. You can check out some screens from “Fallout 3” in the slideshow at the top of this article and the comments from Feargus Urquhart below (courtesy of Attack of the Fanboy):
I think if we were to do Fallout: New Vegas 2 – or just a new Fallout – we would probably separate it from what the internal team at Bethesda’s doing. We’d keep it on the West Coast, because we’re West Coast people. They’re East Coast, so it makes sense.
“Fallout 3” was developed by Bethesda Game Studios, the same studio that is rumored to be developing for the upcoming “Fallout 4.” Obsidian Entertainment was responsible for the development of “Fallout: New Vegas.” Both games were published by Bethesda Softworks.
