Ready to see what's coming up in "Falling Skies" season 4? On Tuesday, June 24, TNT released a new trailer offering a look at what's coming up this season.
The "Falling Skies" season 4 premiere began with the 2nd Mass attacked and divided. Tom, Weaver, Hal, Pope and Tector were thrown into a ghetto camp. Matt's stuck in a youth reeducation camp. Anne, Anthony, Denny and a few other fighters are on the road. Ben, Maggie, Lourdes and Lexi are in the seemingly peaceful Chinatown, where there is no war. But how long will everyone stay where they are?
Well, the new trailer teasing the rest of the season is jam-packed with action, aliens, human drama and plenty of teases to have you wondering what will happen next. "Your games have come to an end," a harnessed kid informs the ghetto camp, later informing Tom, "We are creating a new front line army." The aliens are going to be busy, and as Cochise reveals, their new power source will let the Espheni go on the offense. Plus, there's whatever the Espheni did to Anne in a flashback featuring Karen.
However, the 2nd Mass isn't just going to be sitting around twiddling their thumbs. Anne has become a warrior this season, and you really don't want to get on her bad side. Tom is going to defend his family, and he has a handy flamethrower to use on the Espheni and skitters. Considering Sara thinks the apocalypse is the best thing to happen to her, having her on their side against the aliens might be a good idea.
That said, they might have to fight off trouble from somewhat unexpected places. It looks like Tom's going to end up in trouble on the road again. Also, maybe they shouldn't trust Lexi. "Don’t make me defy you," she tells her mother before Anne begins choking. Later on, Tom looks to be tied up, and Lexi's doing something in front of him.
Remember the Hal/Maggie/Ben love triangle we've known is coming thanks to some of the previews? Well, it looks like maybe there's something going on with Maggie. She tells Ben she feels drawn to him, and then they end up in bed together?! Is that Hal punching Ben? And is that Maggie lying on the table with Hal standing over her?
Finally, the voiceover on the promo teases, "This season the battle for humanity, for hope, for the planet, will leave Earth behind." What does that mean for how the finale will end?
"Falling Skies" season 4 airs Sundays at 10 p.m. on TNT. What do you think of this look ahead at the season?
