"Falling Skies" season 4 will not be airing until summer 2014 and there are plenty of theories and a few spoilers circulating the Internet. On Dec. 12, Enstars revealed some information from showrunner David Eick of what fans can expect when the show airs summer 2014.

Warning: If you do not want to know "Falling Skies" season 4 spoilers, then stop reading.

When the show returns, fans can expect an explosive beginning. Then the Mason boys will go in different directions. Tom will try to convince Matt to flee without him, but that could cause him to be thrown into a military-type school while Tom and Captain Weaver seem to be locked up somewhere else.

David Eick said,

"Ideas will just be fresh and fortunately there has been a lot of support from those on high, including [executive producer Steven] Spielberg," said showrunner David Eick, according to IGN. "We hope that we've been able to yank the rug out on what you might expect from the show but also not throw the baby out with the bath water."

The cast seems quite excited about season 4 with Colin Cunningham tweeting,

"Season 4 is kicking a** you guys. And the powers that be, continue to push the envelope. TNT has real guts. Nobody's resting on laurels."

While there have been tiny tidbits released about the upcoming season, fans don't know very much so whatever is going to happen should come as a surprise.
