'Falling Skies' season 4 episode 3 preview: Will they escape the Espheni Ghetto?

"Falling Skies" season 4 continues this weekend with episode 3, "Exodus," and it's time for the 2nd Mass to get one step closer to a big reunion. However, in order to do so, they're going to have to rely on someone they might not have wanted to, as revealed in the sneak preview TNT released on Thursday, July 3.

The first two episodes of this season of "Falling Skies" have shown the 2nd Mass divided, in an Espheni Ghetto, in a youth reeducation camp, in a seemingly peaceful Chinatown and on the road, and everyone has one goal: reuniting with the rest of the 2nd Mass and their families. In the ghetto, Tom, Weaver, Hal and Tector may have found a way out, thanks to their new friend Dingaan, who has successfully escaped ghettos like it before. They just have to modify his escape plan a bit so they can get everyone out, and that means bringing the wall down. Dingaan's Faraday suit is going to come in handy, but they're also going to need to cut the power to the wall and distract the skitters, so that means all hands on deck.

In this next episode, Tom and the 2nd Mass hatch an elaborate plan to escape the Espheni Ghetto. Meanwhile, in Chinatown, after finding out from Ben that Lexi has been keeping a deadly secret – Ben saw her meeting with an Espheni overlord at the end of episode 2 – Maggie confronts Lexi publicly. Elsewhere at the youth camp, Matt tries to keep Mira from following through with a dangerous escape plan. As for the road warriors, while trekking through the woods, Anne has a flashback to her time in the Espheni tower with Karen (Jessy Schram is back!), where a terrifying secret about her daughter is revealed.

Now, the "Exodus" promo offers a look at all four groups, though the majority of it is about those in the ghetto. While Tom's going to be serving up skitters extra-crispy thanks to that flamethrower, they're only going to have one shot and they're going to have to rely on Pope to get in the suit. (No one's actually surprised by that, right?) Meanwhile, Anne senses that Lexi's close, but Lexi has something much more important to focus on than a possible reunion with her mother because Maggie's pointing her gun at her. Finally, Matt says, "I'll die before they turn me," but what does Kent want with him?

"Falling Skies" season 4 airs Sundays at 10 p.m. on TNT. What do you think of this episode 3 "Exodus" preview?
