After the busy summer vacation season, the fall wedding planning season will kick off with several fantastic events coming to Washington DC and nearby areas. Here are a few events you may wish to mark on your calendars!

Showcase Productions Wedding Showcases are the areas largest and most comprehensive wedding planning events featuring an array of vendors in nearly every possible category to create a one stop bridal shopping experience. Highlights include catering and cake samples, fashion shows and show only discounts. Wedding Showcases are scheduled for September 7 at the Washington Convention Center and September 28 at the Patriot Center at George Mason University. Brides Against Breast Cancer travels the country selling gowns donated by brides, retailers, manufacturers and designers. The proceeds are used to assist patients and their families while battling breast cancer. The Brides Against Breast Cancer Nationwide Tour of Gowns will be visiting Annapolis on September 19 – 20 at Westfield Annapolis, Baltimore on November 21 – 22 at the Sheraton Inner Harbor and Washington DC November 28 – 29 at the Embassy Suites DC Convention Center. This is your opportunity to purchase a new or gently used, current style wedding gown at dramatically reduced prices while helping a good cause.
