Fall volunteer gardening activities in the Vegas Valley

Beautiful fall days are here and it is a great time to enjoy outdoor activities.

There are many ways to enjoy the outdoors, get exercise, meet new people and work with groups that are performing acts of service that provide for members of the community who are in need.

Project AngelFaces continues to organize volunteer work programs for gardeners or want to be gardeners to get outside and play in the dirt while giving back to the community.

This week there are opportunities to volunteer in three different gardens around the Vegas Valley.

Friday, 20 Sept. from 10 am to Noon at CSN Cheyenne Campus. The garden is located at the northwest corner of campus, near Russell's Restaurant.

On Saturday, 21 Sept. from 9 am to Noon at the New Vista Ranch garden located at 7875 N. Rainbow Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131

Also on Saturday, 21 Sept from 4:15-5:30 at the Whitney Senior Garden. This garden is located at 5712 E. Missouri Ave Las Vegas NV 89122
