  1. Super Fun Night on ABC. The all-new girl’s comedy from Australian import Rebel Wilson, known for her hilarious turns in movies Pitch Perfect and Bridesmaids, is based on the real-life fun nights spent with her sister. Produced by fellow comedian Conan O'Brien, the show promises to be both funny and honest. “The purpose of the show, to me, is to inspire girls who don’t think they are cool, or popular, or pretty, and all that, to get out there and have fun and exciting lives,” says Wilson.

Super Fun Night” premieres Wednesday Oct. 2 at 9:30/8:30c on ABC.

  1. American Horror Story: Coven on FX. Quite possibly TV’s most terrifying series, American Horror Story returns for a third season packed with high-profile stars Kathy Bates, Jessica Lange, and Angela Basset. Set in modern times and the 1830s, the season will focus on a school in New Orleans teaching protection to young witches.

American Horror Story: Coven” premieres Wednesday Oct. 9 at 10/9c on FX

  1. Once Upon a Time in Wonderland on ABC. In this modern twist on the classic Alice in Wonderland, Alice is held prisoner in an insane asylum where no one believes her story of traveling to a magical world. Before she can give up hope, the White Rabbit and Knave of Hearts take her back down the Rabbit Hole where she begins the search for her one true love, Cyrus. Executive produced by the same team behind “Once Upon a Time,” the show is slated to be an equally entertaining fairy tale with a feisty heroine.

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland” premieres Thursday Oct. 10 at 8/7c on ABC

  1. The Walking Dead on AMC. The most watched drama in basic cable history will return for a fourth season, with 8 episodes airing in 2013 and 8 episodes returning in February 2014. This season, viewers will find Rick and the group of survivors doing their best to maintain life within the safe haven of the prison. As expected, their happiness will be short lived between the threat of walkers outside and the danger brewing inside the prison walls.

The Walking Dead” premieres Sunday Oct. 13 at 9/8c on AMC.

  1. Dracula on NBC. With the popularity of shows like “True Blood” and “The Vampire Diaries,” it might seem like the last thing TV needs is another vampire show. But NBC’s “Dracula” offers up a serious, dramatic take on the legend. While the show has been shrouded in mystery, offering little more than a short trailer for viewers, the re-imaging takes several departures from other tales of Dracula’s story. In this version, Dracula has an American accent, is working to bring down a shadowy organization known as the Order of the Dragon, and has loosely aligned himself with Van Helsing (who is typically portrayed as Dracula’s sworn enemy).

Dracula” premieres Friday Oct. 25 at 10/9c on NBC.
