Fall River animal rescue to host television show on local station

Forever Paws, a non-profit, no-kill shelter located in Fall River, Mass. began production of a new television show called “Straight from the Paws” to be aired on Fall River Community Television, according to Wicked Local.

The show, which began in March, features episodes about adoption, pet care, grooming, training and the shelter as a whole. “Straight from the Paws” also highlighted the veterinarian assistant program at Bristol Community College and how it helps the shelter.

Other episodes have focused on volunteer opportunities and the Board of Directors.

“Straight from the Paws” airs Wednesday nights, once a month, at 9 p.m. on channel 95 in Fall River. A schedule for Fall River Community Television can be found in the Herald News or at Catch past episodes here.

Forever Paws takes in animals to find them new homes when other shelters are overcrowded. The shelter cares for the homeless, abused and unwanted animals in the Fall River area.
