A three-year hiatus for Fall Out Boy has officially ended on Feb. 4, 2013. They will be releasing a new album, "Save Rock and Roll" due out on May 7 and have announced tour dates. The first single from the album, "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)" is already streaming via their web page.
A trio of dates in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles, to be performed over the next four days, sold out in minutes. The North American tour will go on sale on Feb. 8 and 9, with the tour commencing on May 14, 2013 in Milwaukee at The Rave, and concluding on June 30 at the historic Ryman in Nashville.
Fall Out Boy addressed fans with the following statement, "When we were kids the only thing that got us through most days was music. It's why we started Fall Out Boy in the first place. This isn't a reunion because we never broke up. We needed to plug back in and make some music that matters to us. The future of Fall Out Boy starts now. Save Rock and Roll..."
