This Fall, with just a few key items you can completely update your look! The looks on the runway are extreme versions of the trends, which can be toned down for everyday.
- Blush: The flushed, slightly wind kissed check. This look can be achieved by applying cream blusher to the apple of your check. A few great cream blusher, Sephora Collection Double Contouring Cream Blush in Poppy Pink $16, Revlon Cream Blush in Berry Flirtatious $9.79 and Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Cream Blush in Pink $24.00.
- Deep Red/Wine Lipsticks. Some to try: Clarins Joli Rou lipstick in Plum $26.00 Nars lipstick in Scarlett Express $26.00 and an inexpensive options, Avon's Wine with Everything about $8.00
- Smokey Eye done in shades of brown and copper. A couple great and easy to use shadows are Almay's Shimmer Trio for Browns $9.79 and Avon's Alluring Eyes, in Vibrant Spice $7.00
- Cat Eye. A toned down version of what is on the runway can be achieved by applying with a lighter hand. Instead of using black liner try a cobalt or plum eyeliner like: Bobbi Brown Long Wearing Gel Eyeliner in Cobalt Ink $23.00 or Sephora Collection Retractable Waterproof Eyeliner In Matte Deep Plum $12.00.
I had the pleasure of working with the nation's top makeup artists. When asked about the latest trends in makeup, the answer was always the same....great skin. Take time to properly cleanse and moisturize your skin for the ultimate Fall makeup look.
