There's absolutely no need to visit a pet store to "ooh and aah" at the puppies in the window when the most adorable dogs are available for adoption at county shelters and local humane societies.
Take for instance, Teedo, a two-year-old Shih tzu and Pekingese mix waiting for the perfect family to scoop him up and take him home. He is described as a bit shy, but once this little Ewok lookalike warms up, get ready for the love.
Teedo has little experience with young children and enjoys his daily exercise. What a great way for Teedo's new human to shape up and at the same time, save a life.
