Fall is here! It can be seen in the trees and felt in the cool crisp air. The Summer wedding season is over but Fall has become a hugely popular choice for people to get married. The best part about a fall wedding is the use of vibrant colours. Reds, yellows, oranges and browns are in abundance. There are so many wonderful options for weddings during these few months before the Winter season decides to rear it's ugly head. Resources for DIY projects are very easy to come across in the autumn months since people are gearing up for Thanksgiving and Halloween.

Making your very own wedding decorations is simple and fun. The possibilities are endless when you think of everything that this season has to offer. Bouquets don't necessarily have to be made from real flowers, you can use leaves to make a beautiful leaf rose bouquet, or use pieces of Autumn coloured felt to make a felt flower bouquet.

Pumpkins are everywhere this time of year. They can be used in many different ways and are a unique touch to any Autumn wedding. Make your own pumpkin ice bucket for chilling wine or make a fancy eye catching decoration by making your own glitter pumpkins. If cleaning out a pumpkin isn't your cup of tea you could always make your own paper pumpkins.

Nothing says Fall like a tasty homemade treat, and the best wedding favours are always something you can eat so giving out pumpkin cake in a jar, s'mores packages (graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows), apple crisp in a jar and even candy apples are a great way to impress guests and are all easy to make yourself.

There is no limit to what you can do with your Fall wedding decorations. It's the perfect time of year to get married so make sure you are impressing your guests with your own creative DIY crafts.

Happy crafting!
