The event is being hosted by Choices Limited Center http://www.choicesunlimitedcenter.com/ The center itself has been in business for 26 years, and is a loved resource. They offer
"Sacred Space supplies, Unique Hand-made Jewelry, Beads, Angel oracle and Tarot Cards, Pendulums, Candles, Music, Organic Herbs, Books, Journals, Wind-chimes, Greeting Cards, Raw / Polished Crystals and Stones of all kinds, Essential and Fragrance oils, Many Varieties of Incense & Burners and much more"
The ties that bind families together during the Winter Solstice are strong, and differences in religious practices are often blurred in the flurry of energy and goodwill of the season when we celebrate the return of the Sun. The pagan roots of Christmas, the time of Yule for pagans, are well known http://www.livescience.com/25779-christmas-traditions-history-pa, and both Christian and Pagan alike celebrate the tree laden with tinsel and gold with equal happiness.
Yule http://www.simnet.is/gardarj/yule1.htm , after all, is the first Major Holiday after the New Year of Samhain. We celebrate the survival of humanity through the darkness of Winter. Yule is the long night, and thus a time to light candles and have bright shiny happy things all around us.
This is an opportunity to spread that joy around, while keeping money with the local artisans that make up our community.
Pat Muste is the proprietress, and you can contact her if you want to become a vendor. Tables are just $25.00.
The event is located at 8887 Gull Road, Richland Mi. 49083, just east of Gull Meadow Farms on Gull Road / M-43. For more information, call 269-629-5507.
