Take a ride to Gasport and take advantage of the fall fun at Becker Farms, located at 3760 Quaker Rd. Fall festivals and haunted hayrides await people of all ages.
Becker Farms’ fall festival season kicks off this weekend with the Labor Day Harvest Festival, Sunday and Monday, August 31st and September 1st, featuring U-pick apples, hayrides, pony rides, a chicken BBQ and music from Fiddle Stix. The next two weekends, Saturday and Sunday, September 6th and 7th and September 13th and 14th, the Johnny AppleSeed Festival features more of the same – U-pick apples, hayrides, pony rides, a chicken BBQ and music from the Good Ole Boys. On Saturday and Sunday, October 4th and 5th, Becker Farms hosts Octoberfest, with U-pick apples, hayrides, pony rides, a chicken BBQ, bratwurst and music from Zydeco.
The annual Pumpkin Fiesta takes place Saturdays and Sundays from September 20th through October 26th. The Fiesta features live music, duck and pig races, pony rides, hayrides, an inflatable bounce house, and farm animals. Kids and adult ticket pricing information can be found here.
The Haunted Hayrides take place Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, October 17th through 19th and October 24th through 26th from 7 to 9 p.m. (weather permitting). The Castle Labyrinth maze leads you to the Haunted Hayride – if you can find your way. If you survive, take a walk through Phylotec Biogenetic Testing Station and check out the terrifying man-eating monsters created during an experiment gone horribly wrong. Tickets are $9 – group rates are also available.
