Mason Winfield, the author of a number of books on the paranormal and supernatural in upstate New York, will host a variety of ghost walks and haunted pub crawls beginning this weekend and leading up to Halloween.
On Saturday, September 6th, 13th and 20th, a Haunted History Ghost Walk takes place at Canalside, running from 10 to 11:30 p.m. The tours begin at Clinton’s Dish along the boardwalk and cost $15 for adults and $10 for kids 5 to 12.
From September 13th through November 1st, ghost walks will take place in East Aurora, beginning at the Roycroft Inn (40 S. Grove St.) at 7 p.m. On Friday, September 19th and October 17th, additional tours featuring the “Supernatural Roycroft” take place from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Inn.
On Tuesdays in October, a new tour of Larkinville, featuring the mysteries of the Gaslight-Era, takes place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. as part of Food Truck Tuesdays at Larkinville (745 Seneca St. in Buffalo). The tour costs $15 for adults and $10 for kids 7 to 11.
Ghost walks in the Allentown area begin Friday, September 19th and run through Friday, October 24th. Tours begin at Allen Street Hardware at 7 p.m. and last until 8:30 p.m. Cos is $15 for adults, $10 for kids 7 to 11 and free for kids under 7.
The popular Haunted Pub Crawls happen Saturdays in East Aurora (meet at Tony Rome’s Globe Hotel at 711 Main St.) beginning September 27th and running through November 1st. The Pub Crawls run from 7 to 9:30 p.m. (registration begins at 6:30 p.m.).
