You can't tell by the current weather today, but were just 2 weeks away from the official "fall" season. The summer season is a great time to be out doors for so many activities,but some times it's just too warm for serious exercise. Fall weather in the Pacific NW can be perfect for all sports and athletic activities.
If your an avid out door person, then this isn't news for you, but for beginners this is your time.I f you keep telling your self you want to start walking or bicycling then start now. The weather will be perfect for at least a few more months.
There are so many great out door fitness classes too.Varies boot camps, yoga, beginners running and walking groups. Some times having others to share your struggles and successes with are a great motivator for daily fitness.
If you have children, try to get it done while their in school- You'll feel better about the day and have the energy to take care of them when their home.
If there isn't enough time for you, then plan " family" friendly" exercises and out door activities that the entire family would enjoy. Biking, playing at the park, football, soccer, and even long walks are great for family time.
What ever styles you chose, daily exercise will help support your long term health goals, as well support the transition into the up coming winter season.
