Fall Festival at Planting Fields this weekend

A full weekend of fall festivities is planned at the beautiful Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park, this Saturday and Sunday, October 20-21st.

The Fall Family Festival will feature a Halloween Costume Parade, potato sack races, carriage rides (Sunday only), Dahlia Garden Tours with park staff, Pumpkins for sale and painting, pony rides, egg & spoon races, bounce house, trick or treating, live music, and more!!!

Sponsored by the Planting Fields Foundation and New York State Office of Parks, the annual festival offers something for everyone. Chamber Players International and a live brass quintet band, and "Ready in 10" band will playing live music. For those who love art, there will be watercolor demonstrations, and for the gardeners, the dahlia garden will be in full flower with tours offered.

Festival parking fee is $15 per vehicle. Festival hours are 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., rain or shine.
