Most of the fake good were manufactured overseas once makers learned the two teams that would compete in the Super Bowl, the Broncos and the Seahawks. The counterfeiters smuggled the good into the United Sates via overnight shipping.
Authorities said the fake goods only have about a 10 percent discount. Even worse, the jerseys, hats and other counterfeit goods are very poor quality.

Counterfeiting unfortunately drives up the costs of the legitimate goods, causing huge losses to manufactures and acquisition of inferior products for consumers.

Word to the wise – don’t purchase pirated and counterfeits goods.
