The country stars' accessories at Sunday's Grammy Awards are grabbing more headlines today (Monday) than their fashion choices, performances, or their wins. It was Carrie Underwood's $31 million diamond necklace and Faith Hill's braces that are dominating the post-Grammy buzz today. While Faith appeared to keep a closed-mouth smile on the red carpet, she did get toothy, at times, while presenting alongside husband Tim McGraw.
Faith Hill confessed her new smile is a result of her not following her orthodontist's advice as a teen when she had her first set of braces. "I forgot to wear my retainer," the country superstar is quoted by USA Today. "Kids, wear your retainer," she urged pointing to the post-braces mouth piece that is required.
Faith Hill's braces aren't actually new, although this is the first time they've really gained much attention. Tim McGraw's wife revealed in a November 2012 interview she had the braces put on over the summer. Faith's rocking the clear braces along with her two oldest daughters, who reportedly have them at the same time as their mom.
