Buffalo football fans, it's less than 48 hours until the Big Game. But did you know that the pre-game festivities begin tonight? That's right! Country singer Faith Hill will join the Pretenders in a pre-game concert on CMT at 10pm ET/PT. CMT Crossroads: The Pretenders and Faith Hill Live from the Pepsi Sugar Bowl Fan Jam will air live from Grand Prairie, Texas.
Just a few days ago, the self-proclaimed "Mississippi Girl" talked with CMT Insider producer Tim Hardiman about singing with rock legend Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders, working on a new album and making sure she's keeping it real.
Check out Faith Hill's interview on CMT.com. Tim McGraw's wife talks about growing up listening to 'Brass in my Pocket', adding that it provided her with an anthem during her high school years. Hill compares Hynde's writing stiyle to that of country legend Johnny Cash.
The 43-year-old mother of three is working on a new album, her first in six years. When asked if she's anxious about people hearing her new music, the singer responded,
I'm not anxious yet, because it's not finished yet. (laughs) But when it comes closer to the time, I will definitely be. I'm ready to be onstage. To do this show on Saturday night just gives me the bug again. I've never lost that part of it.

I didn't know this, thanks for the info - FYI I get a lot of people asking if I was named after Faith Hill, of course I have to say, "No, she was named after me!" LOL I wish :)
