Want to know more about the Faith Challenge 2014? Join Impact Church in Detroit, Michigan as they challenge you to grow in faith in every area.
Have you heard of the snow challenge? Many people stripped down to jump in the snow for some old-fashioned fun across social media, but when it was over, what did they gain? Other than some likes for their video, there was nothing tangible of benefit from that challenge. Inspired by the idea, Pastor Keenann R. Knox, senior pastor of Impact Church in Detroit, Michigan is starting the Faith Challenge to inspire others in a mighty way.
The Faith Challenge begins Tuesday, January 14, 2014. It includes fasting, praying, reading the Bible, and tithing as a way of stretching your faith. The benefits are limitless because God watches over His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12) and His Word will not go out and return to Him void, but it will accomplish what He sent it to do (Isaiah 55:11).
Aside from the fasting which lasts 14 days, the remainder of the challenge last 14 weeks. Why? It is 14 weeks until Resurrection Sunday, commonly known as Easter, on Sunday, April 20, 2014. Want to join the challenge? Start today, then be sure to head over to the Impact Church Facebook Page to let Pastor Knox know you are stepping out on faith!
