Fairmont Copley Plaza and Urban AdvenTours

Visitors to Boston have either heard of or experienced firsthand the city’s traffic, limited (and expensive) parking garages and its small crooked one way streets. That being said, Boston with all its history and charm is one of the best cities in the country to explore. And now, guests of the Fairmont Copley Plaza can enjoy the sights of the city on two wheels with the Boston’s Hidden Treasures by Bike package. The hotel together with Urban AdvenTours is offering guests an environmentally friendly way to get around the city; hybrid and specialty bicycles.

Guests will have their choice of a 2 ½ hour guided tour, the Boston City View Tour, that will take you past the beautiful Zakim Bridge, through the historic neighborhoods of the North End and Beacon Hill, to Fenway Park (home to our beloved Red Sox) and along the Charles River. For those who to choose to navigate the city alone the package includes a 24-hour bike rental. All rentals include a helmet, map, and bike locks. And, for those not joining a tour the bikes will be delivered to the Fairmont Copley Plaza.

Prices for the Boston’s Hidden Treasures by Bike package, which is valid through November 28, 2011, start at $409 per night and include a one night stay, bike rentals, a water bottle, and an “I Bike Boston” tee-shirt.

This is a great opportunity to peddle past traffic and get up close and personal with Boston via two wheels.
