Started back in 1999, Fadeaway Records was a local record label responsible for the earlier recordings of notable Long Island acts such as Brand New and The Movielife. The label, founded by Michael Dubin and Neil Rubenstein, was put on hiatus over a decade ago. However that all changed in November when a Facebook page was created and an announcement made regarding a new release titled “Friends.”

There had been a lot of speculation on which artists were involved and what the release was about.
