In a released statement the couple said, “We are so blessed and grateful to God for this newest gift to our family.”
The baby entered the world weighing 8 pounds, 8 ounces. His parents have named him Quincy Xavier Morgan. He joins his 6-year-old brother, Sebastian.
Just this past summer, Fields surprise pregnancy at age 44 made the news. The actress/director had sought medical help for dehydration, believing that she was premenopausal. Tests done at the time revealed showed she was two months into her pregnancy.
Kim came to fame with a couple of appearances on “Good Times” before landing her most recognized role as Tootie on the “Facts of Life,” a role she held from 1979 to 1988. Later, she went on to play Regine on “Living Single” from 1993 to 1998.
Recently, Fields has been working on the latest chapter of her “Holiday Love” series, “Holiday Love: The Rebirth.” She both produced and directed the scripted musical-comedy special. She also appears in it, pregnant.
