Have you ever been through a problem that lasted for many years? Some people have never experienced this but others have endured those never-ending situations. So, what do you do when you have to deal with the same problem year after year?
Christians who are going through long-lasting battles are often blamed for their situation. Some people might say things like, “Well, if you had enough faith, you would have been delivered from that.” Others will even be audacious enough to say, “Maybe you ain’t handling the situation the right way. You ain’t holy enough.”
So, what do you do when you are facing that same battle over and over? Here is one thing you could do, and if you have already done this, just do it again.
First, be honest with how you feel but do not let your emotions rule you. And if you fail at controlling your emotions, don’t beat yourself to the ground. Forgive yourself and try again.
Also, continue to fast, pray, praise, attend church, read your Bible, fellowship, and focus on the tasks God has asked you to do.
You are not a terrible person just because certain problems hover over your head continuously. Furthermore, do not let others cause you to feel like a failure.
The Bible says that weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). The Scripture also promises that the battle is not ours, but the Lord’s.
This is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's" (2 Chronicles 20:15). Even though that burden is standing right there with you, stand still each moment and see the salvation (deliverance) of the Lord.
Remember, God will cause all things to work together for your good (Romans 8:28), even that never-ending problem you have been battling.
