Charles J Adams III is a well known personality on the morning show at WEEU, 630 AM on the radio dial where he has been employed since 1978. He is often referred to as the, “voice of Berks County.” His success has not been confined to just radio he also writes a column for the Reading Eagle on travel and local legends.
In addition to all his other accomplishments Adams is well know in the Berks County area for his more than 20 books on paranormal activity, many of which are about Berks County. Each year around Halloween, Adams reads ghost tales at such place as the Fightin Phils games as well as other venues around Berks County
Adams love for the ethereal is not confined not confined to Berks County area. He has been the speaker at Ghost Hunters Alliance and Ghost World conventions in Gettysburg, PA as well as many regional paranormal conventions in Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He has also traveled overseas to be interviewed on ghostly topics.
His knowledge of the paranormal has not be confined to the printed and radio media. He has also produced some shows for television, such as the History Channel's, “Haunted America .”
While Adams is best know for his books on the paranormal, he also has always dabble in rock music as well as many civic activities in and around Berks County, such as serving on the Board of Directors of the Reading Public Library and being Grand Marshall in the annual Christmas Parade.
In 2006 he donated over 200 books to the Exeter Community Library.
