Less is more The latest trend in facelift surgery is to do less at an earlier age. This procedure has a shorter recuperation time and there are fewer risks involved because there is no general anesthesia. Our gentler technique minimizes bruising and swelling which speeds recovery.
Local anesthesia Most patients will choose local anesthesia if the surgeon spends the time to explain why it is a better, safer and more cost effective option. It has been shown that local anesthesia with oral sedation is all that is needed for facelift procedures. Because our new gentler facelift technique uses only local anesthesia there no side or after effects of general anesthesia. In fact, it allows the patient to be awake but comfortable during the procedure and the recovery time is much quicker. We also offer the option of deeper sedation, if desired.
What facelifts won't do A facelift will not change your fundamental appearance and cannot stop the aging process.
Is it right for me? A facelift can only be performed surgically; non-surgical rejuvenation treatments cannot achieve the same results.
