These are just the kinds of links that hackers attempt to pass around, hoping people will click them and expose themselves to vulnerable hackers, like phishing attempts or other viruses lurking within the links.
Being online for years, we’ve seen it before, and we’ll see it again – but the best thing to do is not to click the link at all. Generally, this type of video wouldn’t come from someone uploading it to an Amazon web server, so that’s the first clue.
Besides, with the sad death hoax turning into the tragedy that it has become, the best thing we can do as online users is pray for his soul and for God to comfort his hurting family and loved ones right now, not pass around links that are no good and aiming to cause additional harm.
A Google search of that title showed that the link is being proliferated across social media, and the high position that it’s ranking on Alexa.com’s What’s Hot list shows that people are clicking through to the purported video.
