Facebook's oldest user is officially 105-year-old Edythe Kirchmaier of California, according to a Feb. 7 UPI report. Kirchmaier is also California's oldest licensed driver, and she is the oldest living former student of the University of Chicago.
It seems that Facebook's oldest user, Edythe Kirchmaier, has accomplished a lot during her 105 years on earth. As part of her notoriety as Facebook's oldest user, Kirchmaier is trying to get 105,000 page "likes" for Direct Relief, a Santa Barbara based medical charity.
Edythe Kirchmaier said,
"I've been contacted by such wonderful people and received such nice messages and pictures from people all over the world. I'm so humbled by all the interest in me. I'm hoping to get 105,000 likes for the page."
This is a goal that Facebook's oldest user is likely to meet. In fact, the woman's 105th birthday wish was that as many people as possible would like Direct Relief's page.
