To be perfectly honest, even though I spend hours on the computer/ Internet everyday, I had never heard of FriendFeed until yesterday. Although, I have to say, while perusing the home page, it does seem to look similar to Facebook and more interesting than Twitter, so I wonder why it hasn't been as popular as the other two?
For other people who are unfamiliar with this social network, this is how The New York Times described it:
"FriendFeed, a social media tracker created in 2007, works like an RSS reader for social media content, pulling in and publishing feeds from more than 60 Web sites, including Twitter, Flickr and Google-owned YouTube, the Bits blog reports.
The four founders of FriendFeed with not be without jobs. They will hold senior positions on the engineering and product teams at Facebook.
